El Americano: The Movie Soundtrack

This Soundtrack is from the 2015 animated film, El Americano: The Movie. The soundtrack features 12 original songs written and composed by various Latin artist, and three score pieces composed by Leoncio Lara Bon, and performed by the Orchestra of Puebla. The album features the song “Hasta el Cielo Alcanzar” (film’s main song) written and performed by six-time Latin GRAMMY nominated Aleks Syntek. The album also contains songs by La Arrolladora Banda Limón, Los Tucanes de Tijuana, 3Ball Mty. featuring Don Cheto, Amanditita, Duelo, Horacio Palencia and many more.  The soundtrack is produced by Gerry Cardoso, Ricardo Arnaiz and Tomas Rubio, is to be release in 2015.

From an early age he began to show his talent, and at the age of 11 he began composing his own music and lyrics. It was not until 1984 that his interest in music turned professional, and he assumed the stage name Aleks Syntek . Aleks, is one of the most important songwriters from Mexico. He has written amazing songs for movies such as Sexo Pudor y Lagrimas, Cantinflas, and now two songs for the up coming film El Americano: The Movie

La Arrolladora Banda El Limón is a Mexican banda from Limon in the state of Sinaloa. Despite being together since the 60s, they didn’t record their first album until three decades later, when in 1997 they recorded their debut album “Mas Arrolladora Que Nunca”.  You will be able to enjoy an original song by La Arrolladora Banda El Limón at the end of the the movie.

3BallMTY is a Latino pop DJ trio from Monterrey, Mexico. Formed in 2009 by three teenage DJs; Erick Rincon, Sergio Zavala (DJ Sheeqo Beat), and Alberto Presenda (DJ Otto). The name “3Ball” comes from the Spanish word “tribal”, which refers to the culture of Guaracha tribal music popular in many Spanish-speaking countries around the world.  3Ball MTY is part of El Americano: The Movie Don’t miss it.

Los Tucanes de Tijuana is a Latino Regional Band founded in 1987, by Mario Quintero in the City of Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. We are proud to announce that Los Tucanes de Tijuana have written el corrido de CUCO, an original song for El Americano: The Movie.

Grupo Duelo is a Norteño band from Texas with a norteño style. The band is also known as Grupo Duelo and Duelo Norteño. The group rose to prominence in late 90s and in 2015 we can enjoy a great song by Grupo Duelo, written by vocalist Oscar Ivan Treviño, in the up coming film El Americano: The Movie.

Horacio Palencia was born on September 4th in Rosario, Sinaloa, Mexico. Horacio has 200 songs recorded by important artist and bands such as; Banda el Recodo, La Arrolladora Banda El Limón, Huracanes del Norte, La Original Banda El Limón, Banda La Costeña, K-Paz de la Sierra, Banda Cuisillos, Germán Lizárraga, Trono de México, Pablo Montero, Lupillo Rivera, and many more. We are fortunate to have an original song written and performed by Horacio Palencia  in our soundtrack.

Amandititita is a Mexican singer and songwriter of cumbia. She came to public attention in 2007 as a performer of what she called “AnarCumbia”, a style said to be entirely urban and a blend of rock, reggae, rap, and traditional Mexican cumbia. From this, she has become known as the self-proclaimed “Queen of AnarCumbia”. Don’t miss the track “Pancho Trueno Gonzalez”, written by Amanditita and Tomas Rubio, featured in El Americano: The Movie.

Druidas is a rock band featuring Pato (guitars and vocals), Güera (bass) and Chespi (drums). Very early on, they decided to mix elements of classic rock, and alternative rock. Druidas has written and performed a great song for El Americano: The Movie.

Las K-Poneras de Chicago; Lubia and Belinda Montoya, two sisters born in La Paz, Baja California Mexico. From an early age were attracted to music, dabbling in it professionally in the city of Chicago and today proudly interpret their own songs. Las K-Poneras de Chicago, are part of the movie, and featured in the El Americano: The Movie Soundtrack,  with the song “Yo lo que quiero es ir al Circo”

Stéphanie Gérard is a singer, and actress. Stephanie has combined her singing with her acting career, and has appeared in numerous soap operas for the TV Network Televisa, such as “La Madrastra” and “Mujer, Casos de La Vida Real”, and Films such as “In Da Cut”,“Pecado Mortal”, “The Desire of Ages”, among others. Stephanie Gerard has written a beautiful balad for El Americano: The Movie Soundtrack.
